What do I bring on board?Bring your sun protection: sunscreen (please be aware to bring reef safe sunscreen), sunglasses and a hat for maximum sun protection. Also do not forget your towel. In case of rain forecasted, bring a rain jacket. We provide you with snorkelling equipment, masks/tuba/fins, which are adjustable in size. But feel free to bring your own snorkelling equipment. We bring a waterproof bag during the tour to provide you with dry storage.

Where is your departure point?Our general departure location is the boat dock of Haapiti. The following link contains the geolocation on google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/rWVxhxva5et . We can also arrange a special departure point at your hotel dock or another place more convenient for you, please request when booking.

Do I need any previous snorkelling experience?Previous snorkelling experience is recommended, but not necessary. To make sure you have the best possible experience, we recommend our guests to practice their snorkelling prior to the tour. Our guide will accompany you in the water to make you feel comfortable and explain how to properly use the snorkelling equipment. As we offer only private tours we can assure our guests with the highest amount of attention. Life vests are available for use during the tour. However, for our guests to enter the water knowledge of swimming is required.

Do you provide hotel pick-ups?Meet us at our departure point or we can organise a departure from almost all hotels or cruise ship tender docks on Moorea. If the place you are staying is unable to reach by the water we will find an alternative departure point most convenient for you.

Is photo coverage included in the price?Yes we will take photos during the tour above and underwater (gopro). Photos will be send to you after the tour. Feel free to bring your own camera equipment.

How many people can we take on board?We take up to maximum 4 guests.

What kind of boat do you have?We have a 17 feet Boston Whaler Montauk, a comfortable boat perfect for lagoon excursions. This type of boat is made of resin, which will not heat up in the sun. We also have a sun deck to provide you with shade. There is a small swimming ladder on the back of the boat to get in and out of the water.

What wildlife can I expect to encounter during the tour?The variety on marine wildlife in Mo’orea is impressively rich. The lively coral reefs provide us with a vibrant variety of fish, stingrays, sharks, sea turtles and dolphins. However sightings of a specific type of species cannot be guaranteed. However if you wish to see a specific type of animal, please let us know in advance and we will put extra effort to spot this animal during our tour.

Do you provide whale-watching tours and outer reef tours?No, we do not provide whale-watching tours. In season there are plenty of whale tour operators. We stay inside the safety of our lagoon and try to offer a different type of tour, for those looking for an unique experience.

What are your cancellation conditions?In case of cancellation more than 1 week prior to your tour date, the sums paid will be wholly refunded. In case such cancellation occurs less than 1 week before your tour date, you will be invoiced up to 50% of the amount of the service to be provided. Any cancellation within 24 hours before the tour time will not result in any reimbursement whatsoever.

Do you offer special rates for children?No, all prices are the same for adults and children.

May I tip the crew?Of course! If you have enjoyed the tour and if the crew has lifted up to your expectations, do not hesitate in showing them your satisfaction.
