Our Tour Philosophy:
Our main goal is to let every single one of our passengers create lifetime memories on the beautiful lagoon of Moorea. To reach this goal, we only offer very small-scale private tours because we believe this is the best way to truly discover what Moorea’s Lagoon has on offer. This way we can interact in a respectful way with the marine wildlife, without disturbing them in their natural habitat. We can assure we stay eco-friendly, since it is very important to us to preserve our corals and protect our wildlife.
Furthermore we like to get to know the people we have on board, and spend the time on the boat together in a relaxed way. We totally costumize the tour to your wishes, we can show you all the highlights of Moorea, but we also like to show you some more hidden treasures and less visited sites of our lagoon. Prepare yourself to be astonished by Moorea’s beauty!
You’ll be on the boat with just your group and our crew. This offers you the opportunity to learn from our guide and ask all the questions you want about Moorea’s lagoon or to just sit back and relax surrounded by nature.
Our tours are never completely the same. We try to stay flexible and listen to the nature to make the most out of every day.
The Boat
The vessel we use is a 17 foot Boston Whaler Montauk, named "Heremoana" which translates to "love for the ocean". A boat that is perfectly designed to cruise the lagoon while staying close to the surface of the water for a complete immersion in the elements.
It boards up to 4 passengers excluding your captain and guide. All necessary safety equipment is on board as well as a swimming ladder and Bimini sun top for shade. A cooler is provided if you wish to store your own drinks or snacks next to what is provided during the tour.
Itinerary
We organize private excursions, which means that we will adapt the tour schedule to your wishes and your level of snorkelling. For example, our itinerary might look like the following:
We will start by exploring the lagoon to admire the beautiful sites from the water, while explaining the geology and history of Moorea to you. We will navigate to the largest marine protected zone of the island where it is ideal for snorkelling! We will certainly be able to swim with black tip reef sharks and stingrays on a shallow sandbank. If the weather conditions and your snorkelling level allows it we could possibly try to observe green sea turtles in the water.
We will be heading to the motus (small islets) where we will explore a beautiful coral garden, to observe beautiful fish and corals. After the snorkelling we will prepare you a tropical fruit platter with fresh juices. And if nature is on our side, we might even be able to observe spinner dolphins.
During the snorkelling part, your certified guide will always be in the water with you and take underwater pictures of you with a GoPro camera (at no additional cost) that will be transferred to your devices after the tour.

Captain Clem
Clément is a CPL licensed captain and qualified lifeguard. With his natural calm personality, he will make everybody feel safe and relaxed on board. He loves to share his big admiration for the ocean and the species living in it. Being a passionate waterman, spending his life in and around the ocean whilst spearfishing and surfing, he knows how to read the conditions and always makes sure to create the best itinerary for his passengers.
Guide Luna
Luna will be your licensed guide during the tour and inside the water. Passionately explaining you everything you need to know about what’s to see underwater and on land. She will make sure that all passengers from first time snorkelers to seasoned mermaids will have an unforgettable trip. Always carrying her GoPro camera with her she is sure to capture your best memories.
